I took a class and bound a book

Coptic Bookbinding

I took a class at Maker Nexus on Coptic bookbinding, because why not? We bound a book and woodburned the cover. The process itself is pretty simple: use some sturdy material for the covers, fold paper up to the right size, then stitch it all together. We got a handy printout that summarizes the process, so that'll be very helpful whenever I decide to bind another book.

I don't know what I'll put in this book though. I think the only thing really stopping me from binding more books is that I don't know what to fill the pages with. Hand bound books would definitely make for some fun gifts, though!
